Disability Services
Alternative Community Training provides support to individuals with disabilities as they become members of the community. We offer four areas of service: Supported Employment, Affirmative Industry, Community Integration, and Community Living. We assist with daily activities and community integration and our goal is to help individuals live as independently as possible.
Students can serve directly with consumers in creating and implementing activities; seeking out new sources of activities; interacting directly with our consumer advisory board; helping to prepare publications and calendars. Students can serve with our behavioral therapists. Students can also assist with community based assessment and placement, job development with clients and job coaching with clients.
