Description and Mission

RAIN provides non-medical compassionate care to those infected, or affected, by HIV while providing up-to-date prevention education in the community. We are currently seeking volunteers and students to work in the Education Department, although more opportunities for working directly with HIV+ individuals may develop.

Activities:

Students can assist the Education Coordinator with outreach activities including the distribution of instructional materials, condoms and information about HIV testing.

Special emphasis and skills:

Public Relations, Public Speaking, Client Counseling
