Description and Mission

Boonville Correctional Center is a medium-security state prison for youthful first offender felons. The Boonville Correctional Center (BCC) is located at the former Missouri Training School for Boys and was constructed in 1889. The facility, located in Boonville, was transferred to the Department of Corrections on July 1, 1983. BCC is a medium security (C-3) facility housing 1,256 inmates.
