Description and Mission

Our program is a tutoring/mentoring program designed to service students in grades K-7 living in Columbia's adjacent neighborhoods. Our program is modeled after a program entitled the PEAK Project, which focuses on providing one-on-one mentoring and tutoring to the students in the Columbia community. We meet at Blind Boone Center Mondays through Thursdays, from 4:00 to 6:00.

Activities:

Up to 10 students per day can serve as mentors, tutors and activity leaders. Initial intake is through Big Brothers Big Sisters Site Based Program. Your first contact is kerrie.bloss@bbbs.org.

Special emphasis and skills:
