Description and Mission

The PedNet Coalition is a group of individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations with a vision for the future of Columbia, in which it is safe and pleasant to walk, cycle, wheel, and skate throughout the city. We hope to give citizens a real choice regarding the mode of transportation they elect for traveling to work, school, or recreation as well as to encourage healthier lifestyles and a cleaner environment.

Activities:

Students need to be available 2 mornings a week from September 14th till November 20th, 2009. Training and criminal background checks are done the first full week of September. We share office downtown with the YouZeum and the Get About Columbia Project.

Extra Projects

Projects consistent with the organization’s mission are available; there are currently no special projects posted.
