Description and Mission

The City of Columbia Office of Volunteer Services provides valuable opportunities to build community while volunteering in city government. Our office serves as a centerpoint for those who wish to volunteer and the staff and departments who can benefit from the time and talents of volunteers.

Activities:

Year round and season specific projects are available including: park patrol assistant, First Night coordination and volunteer recruitment, compilation of the summer youth directory, organization of aspects of Clean Up Columbia, Stream Extravaganza, Treekeepers, Heritage Festival, Adopt-A-Spot, Columbia Festival of the Arts. Please call for current projects.

Data Entry, Community Gardening, Graphic Design, Project Management, Public Relations, Public Speaking, Web Design, Community Organizing, Web Design, Editing, Event Planning
