Women's Issues

Description and Mission

The Alliance for the Status of Missouri Women aims to improve the status of Missouri women by bringing together many diverse organizations and individuals to inform public policy makers, educate the public, and advocate for change. In so doing, the Alliance seeks to impact the health, safety, earnings, employment, economic status, and political participation of women.

Activities:

Students perform research and data analysis, track legislation and create content for the Alliance's website.

Special emphasis and skills:

Project Management, Community Organizing, Data Compilation, Web Design, Editing, Event Planning, Fundraising

Projects consistent with the organization’s mission are available; there are currently no special projects posted.
