Description and Mission

Center Stage is an MU sanctioned student organization that provides free dance lessons to children who otherwise would probably not be able to afford them. MU students and faculty in Center Stage teach ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and cheer/pom classes to more than 250 Columbia kindergarteners through 9th graders. We rely on donations and fundraisers for recital clothes, shoes, props, and paperwork. We truly believe that every child should have the chance to experience the joy of dance.
