Description and Mission

The Columbia Civic Orchestra is an orchestra formed of approximately fifty musicians of all ages from Columbia and surrounding areas. For young, talented instrumentalists, CCO is a splendid adjunct to the school music program, an opportunity to meet repertoire that they would not meet elsewhere and to work with musicians of greater experience. There are a number of young persons presently in the orchestra, but more would be welcome.
