Description and Mission

KOPN is community radio. Support for KOPN comes from you the listener and from businesses that underwrite our shows. KOPN's in-depth and sometimes controversial local talk programming allows you to join in the discussion. We also bring you national talk shows from National Public Radio and Pacifica Radio Network. Stay informed about world events with news from NPR and from the BBC.

Activities:

Students can learn radio production including working the airboard; creating off air and on air public announcements; and how to work effectively on fundraising events, creating the annual report and general office assignments.

Projects consistent with the organization’s mission are available; there are currently no special projects posted.
