Description and Mission

The Mid-Missouri Crisis Line is a 24-hour, toll-free, confidential crisis hotline number provided to Mid-Missouri residents in a 20 county area. Deafline Missouri is also a 24-hour, toll free confidential crisis hotline number provided to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals statewide. This is the only number in the nation to provide statewide services to deaf individuals in crisis and hearing as they relate to deaf issues.

Activities:

Student serve as hotline volunteers 3 hours per week and overnight once a month. Four day training begins Feb. 2-5, 9-12 or 6-9pm each day.

Client Counseling, Therapeutic Counseling, Customer Service, Life Skills Training
