The Family Health Center is a federally funded community health center established to expand primary care services to uninsured and underinsured patients in the Columbia area. The center's doctors, residents, and staff provide preventative care, chronic disease management, family planning, prenatal care, newborn and child care, mental health care, cancer screening, medication assistance, and referrals to other health providers and social service agencies, regardless of patient's ability to pay.
Students serve with health care staff in diabetes education, weight management and exercise management.
