Description and Mission

NECAC is a not-for-profit Community Action Agency delivering a variety of social service programs to low income elderly, youth, handicapped and disadvantaged individuals and families through grants and contractual agreements with Federal, state, county and local governments, other not-for-profit organizations and private businesses. NECAC is not a government agency.

Activities:

Students can serve as program assistants and participate in client intake interviews, application processing tasks, and referrals to other local agencies.
