Description and Mission

The Career Awareness Related Experience Program focuses on providing valuable one on one mentoring and tutoring for Columbia's central city youth.

Activities:

College students are needed to tutor 12 to 16 year old young people in math, English, social studies, government, study skills and time management, and job finding skills. We have the capacity for 1-2 college students per day, Monday through Friday, from 2:45 to 5:00.

Special emphasis and skills:

Project Management, Math Proficiency, Reading Proficiency, Educational Counseling, College Preparatory Learning Activities, Youth Emphasis, Pre-employment Counseling
