Description and Mission

PALS was founded in March of 1989, in Lincoln County, Missouri as an all-volunteer, non-profit foster home animal rescue organization. We are an IRS 501(c)(3) certified charity licensed by the State of Missouri. We are the only shelter in Lincoln County with a facility open to the public daily. Our basic goal is to find good homes for stray and abandoned animals. We are strong advocates of spay and neuter to help control animal populations.

Activities:

As an all volunteer organization, we are always in need of more active members and volunteers; whether it is to help by fostering a pet, assisting at adoption events by walking dogs, transporting pets to and from these events, computer work, pet photography, assisting in writing our newsletter, making arts and crafts for fundraising, participating in our annual bake sale, or in any other project or fund-raiser we are involved in.

Special emphasis and skills:

Animal Care, Event Planning, Fundraising, Office Administration, Patient Assistance, Delivery of Medical Care, Not-For-Profit Management

Extra Projects

Projects consistent with the organization’s mission are available; there are currently no special projects posted.
