Description and Mission

Columbia Builds Youth was established in 2004 as part of HUD's Youth Build Programming. We serve the needs of young men and women between the ages of 17 and 24 who are looking to earn construction trade certifications and their GED.

Activities:

Service-learning students will assist with GED classroom activities and tutor our participants in math, science, and language arts.

Special emphasis and skills:

Reading Proficiency, Carpentry, Math Proficiency, Cultural & Social Assimilation, Financial Literacy
