Description and Mission

The Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition (CMSHTC) exists to prevent and end forced labor and sexual exploitation of innocent children, women, and men. Through advocacy, community collaboration, and education, we seek to identify victims, expose traffickers and buyers, promote slave-free practices, and support survivors of human trafficking on their journey toward wholeness. We envision communities free of modern-day slavery.

CMSHTC is a multi-sector coalition committed to the end of the modern-day slave trade. CMSHTC is made up of members of the community and representatives of different organizations: social service providers, faith-based organizations, students, educators, healthcare providers, and others.
