Description and Mission

The students of Columbia Public Schools have the opportunity to attend ACE, Alternative Continuing Education, when they have been suspended out of school. ACE is structured on Restorative Practices. ACE provides a welcoming and inviting learning space for all K-12 students within CPS.

Activities:

Community building: This involves bringing all participants together to promote understanding and cooperation. Student restoration: This involves students reflecting on actions or words in the effort to correct mistakes or make better choices. Complete assignments and study: This involves students maintaining or improving academics.

Special emphasis and skills:

Tutoring, Reading Proficiency, Math Proficiency, Middle School Emphasis, Writing, High School Emphasis
