Description and Mission

The goal of the University YMCA is to help people study and work toward enriched human living and a free and just society. This is accomplished through a variety of community service programs centered around the needs of youth. We seek to attract and unite in active service, individuals of all faiths and backgrounds to form a community of young people committed to promoting personal growth and leadership.

YMCA volunteers develop these skills by working with a variety of programs focusing on youth development, tutoring, and mentorship. Students are able to select opportunities based on their own interests and personal learning goals.

Special emphasis and skills:

Mentoring, Tutoring, Middle School Emphasis, Elementary School Emphasis
