Description and Mission

GRO Mizzou's purpose is educating and activating for social and economic justice on a wide array of issues at the local, state, and national level. A campus affiliate of mid-Missouri's GRO (Grassroots Organizing - please follow the link for more information about GRO:, GRO Mizzou will participate in events with GRO in addition to leading and organizing its own events. By combining undergraduate and graduate students; students from several academic disciplines, and students from different backgrounds, GRO Mizzou endeavors to foster an inclusive and critical discourse aimed at ameliorating injustices that plague society.
