Description and Mission

The Caring People was founded in 1997 and reaches out to Single Moms with unconditional love, acceptance and friendship. Single Moms can find support through strong, compassionate Caring Women in their Care Groups.

Volunteers will provide childcare while the Moms are in group sessions. There are weekly Care Groups for the Single Moms, but as a volunteer you will be asked to interact with the children while the moms are in their groups. You will provide various activities for the children to keep them busy as well as provide support for them. Ages range from infant to 12. Tutoring High School students could be a possibility and/or arranged.
