Description and Mission

Watch Us Grow Early Childhood Learning Center L.L.C will provide children and parents hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, creativity and the development of problem-solving and social skills.


Create learning experiences and offer programs that foster family learning and nurture interaction between children and their families. Services are provided at various locations throughout the community. Create learning areas and activities that reflect the special abilities and interests of children, that give children the tools to construct their own knowledge and that foster their natural curiosity to learn. (Focusing on cognitive, language, social and motor skills) Provide a safe, developmentally appropriate and welcoming activities where families can explore, discover and learn together. Often providing educational programs that serve as a resource for parents seeking opportunities to strengthen their parenting skills. Offer affordable educational opportunities for families in the community. Seek opportunities to collaborate with other institutions and organizations and to seek dynamic partnerships which leverage the impact of the Learning Center. Service-learning students would be involved in our family strengthening and parent skills training strand of the grant provided through Project Launch and Children's Miracle Network. Our main activity would be creating and preparing learning activities for parents to do at home with their child. Focusing on teaching and supporting parent-child interactions. There is also an opportunity to learn more about the Parenting Curriculum The Incredible Years. get experience working with children and families, learn more about program development and working with federally funded grants. Time commitment will be at least 3 hours per week which includes travel time, with the opportunity gain more experience if that is what the student desires.
