Rainbow House Emergency Shelter

Partner Type

Crisis Shelter/Counseling

Description and Mission

Rainbow House's mission is to keep children safe and to support families in crisis through prevention, assessment, and intervention in child abuse and neglect. At our Towne Drive location we have three main programs: The Children's Emergency Shelter, the Regional Child Advocacy Center, and our clinical programs. The Emergency Shelter houses children that are in foster care and assists parents who need placement for their children during a family crisis. The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) serves children who have been sexually abused and/or severely physically abused. Our clinical programs provide community based counseling for individuals and families.
