Description and Mission

West Boulevard is an Elementary school within the Columbia Public School system, where 360 students are currently enrolled in grades PK-5. They also have an English Language Learners Program for students from diverse backgrounds. It is the vision of Columbia Public Schools to be the best school district in the state, and to provide an excellent education for all students.


Students can serve as mentors and tutors during school hours (7:30AM-3:00PM). Depending on need, students can also serve as mentors and tutors after school from 3:00-4:15. It is appreciated if students are available for a two or three hour period once a week, depending upon the number of service hours required.
