Description and Mission

At The Bluffs, we pride ourselves in our commitment to excellence in everything we do. From the cleanliness of the facility to the quality of our food, we work everyday to implement continuous quality improvement within each area of the facility. Our goal is to help our residents reach and maintain their highest level of independence. In addition, we strive to create “moments of joy” and a "warm personal touch" for everyone everyday through our activities programs. In addition to state-of-the-art long-term nursing care, our array of services includes a 16 bed Alzheimer’s special care unit, short-term rehabilitation services, and hospice care. The Bluffs has earned the reputation of being one of the best nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the state of Missouri. The Bluffs is a modern 132 bed not-for-profit skilled nursing facility serving the citizens of central Missouri. The members of our volunteer Board (the Boone County Senior Citizen Services Corporation) are appointed by various local agencies. This helps keep our focus on being responsive to the needs of the community.
