Description and Mission

The Adult Learning Center of the Columbia Public Schools provides classes to adults who have not completed high school and/or are non-native English speakers. We provide High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation, academic remediation, and English Language Learning (ELL) classes. Students may attend classes that work towards proficiency in English and cultural adaptation.

Special emphasis and skills:

ESL Literacy, Adult Literacy, Math Proficiency, Cultural & Social Assimilation, Cultural Awareness, Life Skills Training
