Description and Mission

The Community Garden Coalition of Columbia, Missouri is a not-for-profit corporation that provides support, supplies and garden plots to lower-income individuals, the elderly, people with disabilities and children. We he lp gardeners stretch their food dollar and improve their nutritional intake by growing their own vegetables. In addition, the CGC works to improve the overall quality of life in neighborhoods by encouraging a self-help attitude among participants.
