Description and Mission

In operation since 1971, Camp Hickory Hill last year celebrated its 39th year of operation. We serve children and teens age 8 to 17 who have insulin-dependent diabetes. Our mission is to educate these boys, girls, young men and young women to manage and control their own diabetes in partnership with their families and health providers. The quality, length and productivity of their lives will depend largely upon how successfully they control and manage their diabetes.
