Description and Mission

The Community Partnership is a non-profit organization that strives toward empowering the community to work together to address the issues and concerns of local residents. It is our mission to foster actions by people and organizations that make a positive difference in the individual and collective lives of people at greatest risk and need.

The purpose of the Partnership is to promote coordination and cooperation among schools, social service providers, businesses, parents, governmental agencies and residents. We are a founding partner of the BCOTN, the Boone County Offenders Transition Network, and coordinate it's activities.

Activities:

Students can work as a team or individually on a various marketing projects for our community activities.

Special emphasis and skills:

Customer Service, Fundraising, Community Organizing, Crime Prevention, Cultural & Social Assimilation, Economic Justice, Web Design, Marketing, Web Page Management, Public Relations/Promotion, Social Justice, Program Development, Citizen Involvement, Cultural Awareness, Community Development, Domestic Violence Awareness, Prisoner Rights, Inmate Support
