Description and Mission

MedZou Community Health Clinic is a student-run medical clinic offering free primary healthcare and some specialty services to those in need. Our mission is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for uninsured residents of Central Missouri, while also educating heath care students about working with underserved populations. Together with our community partners and volunteers across various health-related disciplines, we aim to improve access to primary health care and promote social justice by advocating on behalf of our patients regarding access to medical care and other basic needs. Clinic operates on Monday and Thursday nights.


MedZou currently incorporate students from the School of Nursing, School of Social Work, Masters in Public Health, Masters in Health Management and Informatics (HMI), and School of Health Professions as well as undergraduate pre-medical students as members of the MedZou team.

Special emphasis and skills:

Patient Assistance, Delivery of Medical Care, Customer Service, Office Administration, Data Compilation
