Description and Mission

The Achieve Programs stated goal is to reduce the academic achievement gap between low income and/or minority students by increasing the instructional capacity of the classroom. This is achieved through the addition of trained academic tutors who work individually with elementary students on a variety of academic topics.

Activities:

The Achieve Program pairs one MU student with one or two underachieving K-8 elementary and middle school student(s) for intensive academic tutoring/mentoring.
