Description and Mission

The Mission of the Foundation is to raise money and awareness in support of public education by providing exceptional educational opportunities for students and teachers. Activities include: Foundation Gala, Payroll Deduction Campaign (internal staff campaign), Papa and Princess Dance (kdg. Through 5th grade), major saver card sales, scholarship luncheon donor meetings and scholarship luncheon in April. Teacher Appreciation banquet in May.


Web development and social media posting is a key component in reaching younger donors and assistance is greatly needed in this area, Sponsorship solicitations, gala planning, script writing, video preparation and power point program development, designing of invitations and programs, preparation for the beginning of school meetings and the school's opening session. Payroll Deduction solicitation to staff and all school personnel, grant evaluations, planning for the spring scholarship luncheon. The Foundation has a newly designed website that will launch in September 2012. Additional attention to the website will be needed.
