Dates and Times

Wii Excellerate occurs on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month at SIL. Volunteer hours are 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Service Activities

Volunteers help demonstrate and teach social skills to youth with disabilities in the fun setting of a game night. Volunteer assistance is requested to assist in the set-up, clean-up, and modeling of appropriate social behavior. Board games and Wii are available to play. Pizza is provided!

Special Criteria

Must be willing to complete our agency volunteer paper work and orientation, register with the Family Care Safety Registry, and consent to and pass a background screening.

Training

Adaptive recreation, child enrichment/education knowledge and group facilitation skills.
